You have to be stylish when going to school and with the Economy the way it is, a Diva must be prepared at all times, even on a budget. Lip shine of course, a must have; eye shadow that doesn’t look like you are about to meet your maker, blush with earth tones, water-proof mascara, eyeliner, and foundation liquid or powder. Now that you have the basic, invest in some good tools to put yourself together. Divalish girls don’t use cheesy tools to make themselves gorgeous and you don’t have to break the bank to purchase good essential tools.
Rule of thumb: Make sure your makeup is appropriate for school, a date, or just hanging out with friends. Do not have your face looking like you are a clown at your local circus. Try to use eye shadows that make your eyes pop but don’t overpower your whole face and remember you can still get good coverage without going overboard.
Spend time practicing how to apply your makeup and see what fits your style and your face. Always remember that makeup should be tossed in the trash after it’s shelf life or you might end up with some unwanted skin problems that you didn’t ask for. Lastly, do not forget to purchase cleanser for your face, along with a good toner to keep your face fresh and moisturize.
If you are going to be an already ‘Glam Diva’ or a Diva in training, you have to get the basics of makeup primpin down to a science. For my younger Diva’s, always get your parents approval. We don’t want our younger teens wearing too much makeup, too soon. You can use a light coat of lip shine and tinted moisturizer to keep you looking divalish and youthful.
