Don't need to let the twins out, Whit!
“Okay so a couple photos were captured while I was in Miami that weren’t the most discreet and I’m sorry if they offended anyone but I got too caught up in the sunshine and the weather that I guess I wasn’t as cautious as I should have been. Everyone knows the rough and tumble of the ocean mixed with a bathing suit — not the most attractive thing ever! So sorry for the view…very embarrassing to say the least! I guess all I can do now is laugh about it and move on! “

Fashion never looked so good. With these hot red carpet looks, how can a DIVA go wrong. Dakota Fanning, Eva Mendes, Kerry Washington, Nia Long, and Halle Berry are simply gorgeous and divalicious. As you can see, each star has on minimal accessories and still rock the outfit in true Divalish fashion. Dakota is the youngest out of the group and she managed to keep it girlie and divalish without going overboard. Nia’s outfit is perfect for a night out with the girls or on a date. Kerry, Halle, and Eva are wearing classic looks that would stop traffic any day of the week and their makeup is simply gorgeous.

Between family, friends, the cute crush from school, how can a Diva balance her busy schedule? You can’t please everyone and there is only one you. Well, don’t have hissy fit. Just like you have to balance the books at school, you can balance a schedule. Get organized. The first thing you need to do is decide what is on the top of your list and what activities can get tossed to the bottom of your To-Do list. Whatever you do, don’t STRESS yourself out. That’s just bad for a Diva on the go. If you don’t have a planner, either write out a schedule on cute paper of course, or use your phone calendar. The best thing you can do is complete any studying or homework you might have, first. That way the rest of your weekend is spent on activities you enjoy. For my working Diva’s, you can be productive, too. Just give yourself a few hours of “pamper me” time and you won’t feel like your whole weekend was a bust.
Lastly, remember that ‘Divas’ are Diverse, Fashionable, Fun, Lovable, Independent, Strong, and individuals who know how to make a lasting impression.

You have to be stylish when going to school and with the Economy the way it is, a Diva must be prepared at all times, even on a budget. Lip shine of course, a must have; eye shadow that doesn’t look like you are about to meet your maker, blush with earth tones, water-proof mascara, eyeliner, and foundation liquid or powder. Now that you have the basic, invest in some good tools to put yourself together. Divalish girls don’t use cheesy tools to make themselves gorgeous and you don’t have to break the bank to purchase good essential tools.
Rule of thumb: Make sure your makeup is appropriate for school, a date, or just hanging out with friends. Do not have your face looking like you are a clown at your local circus. Try to use eye shadows that make your eyes pop but don’t overpower your whole face and remember you can still get good coverage without going overboard.
Spend time practicing how to apply your makeup and see what fits your style and your face. Always remember that makeup should be tossed in the trash after it’s shelf life or you might end up with some unwanted skin problems that you didn’t ask for. Lastly, do not forget to purchase cleanser for your face, along with a good toner to keep your face fresh and moisturize.
If you are going to be an already ‘Glam Diva’ or a Diva in training, you have to get the basics of makeup primpin down to a science. For my younger Diva’s, always get your parents approval. We don’t want our younger teens wearing too much makeup, too soon. You can use a light coat of lip shine and tinted moisturizer to keep you looking divalish and youthful.

Okay, I have to admit, I’m addicted to my cell phone. I know there are tons of Diva’s out there that can’t function without their faithful cell phone and don’t get me started on the texting..OMG…It’s out of control. Diva’s, if you find youself sneaking to the bathroom at school to text your BFF, you’re an addict. How many times have you tore your room, car, or screamed at your parents because your cell phone was MIA? Yes, and her is my personal favorite. Went to school with no books but guess what? I had my cell phone. Now that’s a DIVA for you.
I need to go to a few CPA aka “Cell Phone Addiction” meetings. My whole life is in there. Hey, I have to keep up with all my PEEPS and I feel totally lost without it. I know you Diva’s out in cyberland can relate. Don’t laugh, your an addict too, if you are reading my blog on your cell phone. So say it with me, “I am a DIVA and I’m addicted to my cell phone!”

We all have experienced at least one Frenemy. You know her. The one who pretends to be your BFF while secretly hating you. One minute she acts like she’s so supportive of you and wishes you well and the next minute, she is twisting the knife in your back. Well, BEWARE of her and the lies she tells others to make you seem worthless while making herself look like she is your best friend. Oh, and don’t think a frenemy won’t go after your crush or boyfriend. They are always suspect #1 and she wants what you have, and she is no friend of yours.
Always go with your instincts, if your so called “Friend” starts acting like your BFF in your face and then, you start hearing your secrets you only told her, she’s the FRENEMY. If she, acts too flirty with your boyfriend and trying extra hard to get his attention, “Yes, girlfriend, she’s a frenemy.” Diva’s have to stick together so lets say you have been forwarned and be on the lookout.
*More tips on how to handle her coming soon!

It’s unreal when homework has you singing the blues. You can’t seem to keep your focus with so many distractions. Well stay calm and don’t panic. There are some things you can do to get you out of the “I wanna tear my hair out” syndrome when it comes to getting your homework done.
1. Turn you cell phone off. “That’s a killer”
2. Make sure you are working under bright lights.
3. Tell your relatives not to interrupt you.
4. Prepare a small snack so you don’t get the munchies.
5. No Company
6. Sit at a desk or table. “Beds and sofa’s make you sleepy”
